Alwen Rally Change of Venue

Unfortunately due to incomplete harvesting work in South Alwen the condition of the trail has forced us to find an alternative venue rather than cancel our event being the last club rally of the current season.

The forestry in Mid Wales have given us permission to use Dyfnant Forest which some of you have already run at Bruce & Lyn's event there just before Xmas.

Entries (to Elspeth) will be accepted for a few more days and those already received have been or will be contacted regarding the change. Details of classes, running times, etc remain as per brochure for Alwen.

The new directions are as follows:-

From Welshpool head west on the A458 for 15 and a half miles. Just as you are leaving the village of Llangadfan (after passing the Cann Office Hotel) turn right along the B4395. The entrance to the Forest is on the left signed Pen-y-Ffordd, and is about a mile and a half on the left. The OS grid reference is SJ033154 and the Post Code of the Cann Office is SY21 0PL.

The Cann Office Hotel will be open for meals, etc for those not wishing to self-cater.
