	Grimsthorpe Estate Rally 2003 15 Feb 2003 A chilly -6 Friday evening prepared an almost perfect trail for Saturday's 9.30am start. Our fifth year of organising Grimsthorpe Estate Rally was enjoyable as ever. 97 competitors running in D, D2, E and C Classes experienced this year's 3.2 mile trail. More Details
	Rendlesham Rally 2003 08 Feb 2003 Debbie & Cindy did an excellent job on the Friday marking up 4 trails, all of which included a minimum of 14 turns, with the 6's having to contend with 19!!!!, but that's what makes this rally fun. The dogs seem to really enjoy it, no sooner have they turned a corner, the next red marker is in sight. More Details
	Carron Valley Rally 2003 08 Feb 2003 A select few gathered at Carron Valley for this year's event. Most of the snow from the previous ten days had gone, what was left was chipped away by Steve Shaw and Gregor McNicol - had we waited an hour or so the weather would have done it for us! 10degrees, wet and very windy was the order of Saturday, although it was suprising just how many happy faces (human) there were, the teeth gleaming through the mud packs. The dogs were their usual selves, happy to have had a good workout through the mud that quickly formed. More Details
	Sherwood Pines Rally 2003 05 Jan 2003 85 entries in all and although there were some icy patches, we managed to keep to the course originally planned - unlike last year when there were five changes before the first competitor started out. More Details
	Sherwood Pines Night Rally 2003 04 Jan 2003 No sightings of the Sherwood Boglin this year, thank goodness - the only serious fright provided by Mick when he thought he had left all the numbers at home, sent Sue and me back to search the house only to find that they were in Bill's trailer all the time! 	Fineshades Rally 2002 21 Dec 2002 Having the Rally date so close to Christmas, we were obviously compelled to develop a Xmas theme for the event. That's the excuse for all the Santa Hats being made compulsory for the Starters, Snubbers, finishing & Marshals. More Details
	Stowe Gardens Rally 2002 15 Dec 2002 Having found the start, rather hidden behind a large bank of rhodedendrums, you set off into a magic wonderland of twisting paths, great monuments, polite public - madly taking pictures, secluded lakes and much more. More Details
	Dalby Rally 2002 07 Dec 2002 Due to logging activities at our usual venue, Cropton forest, the rally this year was moved to the much larger Dalby forest. Based around a plateaux in the middle of Dalby, the area is much flatter and gave us the opportunity to offer 4 different course lengths. More Details
	Kirroughtrie Rally 2002 23 Nov 2002 The first rally held at Kirroughtrie wasn't without problems, the original trail previously seen was badly damaged and not suitable. Then with the help of F.E. we searched and discovered another trail which we thought could possibly be used, there was a certain amount of work to be done, which F.E. were great at helping with which this included the work filling in pot holes in the week leading up to the rally. 	Head Down Sprint 2002 10 Nov 2002 What is amazing in such a select gathering, is the distances travelled, and we had a truly International feel, with two Overseas Competitors gracing the field. More Details
	Sled Dog Working Teachin 2002 27 Oct 2002 The entries for the beginners teach in kept arriving & arriving & arriving. We got there Saturday lunchtime to set up for the night rally & the mobile started ringing as everyone heard the weather forecast for the next day... More Details

	Colwyn Bay 2002 - Fun Weekend 04 Oct 2002 The 3rd Colwyn Bay Siberian husky event kicked off in Eirias Park on Friday night with a pub quiz in the bar, followed by lots of drinking and a late night! More Details
	Southern Open Show 2002 07 Sep 2002 Our September Show is usually blazing hot and to awake on 7th September 2002 to pouring rain was not a good sign. We trundled off down the M4 and going westward found us in a much brighter day. Following the clear instructions we drove down the winding road to Trindledown Farm at Great Shefford. More Details
	Northern Open Show 2002 16 Jun 2002 In what has to be probably the most beautiful setting we have ever had, the SHCGB Northern Show, took place on Sunday 16 June 2003 at Bavington Hall. More Details
	Championship Show - Coventry 2002 13 Apr 2002 This, the 25th Year of the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain, saw us back to Breed Specialists for our Championship Show. Jenny Littlejohn of the Skiivolk affix & Tracey Pittock of Cheechako drew between them a phenomenal entry of 350 exhibits giving 417 entries. More Details
	Grizedale Rally 2002 23 Mar 2002 For all mushers, the onset of another spring heralds the end of one more race season and this seasons last rally was held at Grizedale in the Lake District. There was a good turn out for this venue that is normally held in November, but was rescheduled due to the recent foot and mouth epidemic that badly affected the whole of Cumbria. More Details
	Grimsthorpe Rally 2002 16 Feb 2002 Brilliant turnout for a rally we thought would be under subscribed due to other events on the same weekend. Sincere thanks go to all who marshalled for this event, we seem to rely on the same people year after year, big thanks to Steve Golby who nearly missed his start time due to marshalling as no one else came forward to offer help. 	Rendlesham Rally 2002 09 Feb 2002 Thankfully for Deb, Sians football was postponed, and to her relief I could do the mushers meeting, of all the jobs required over a race weekend, that was the one she dreaded the most, I'm just glad I can be of use sometimes. More Details

	Royal Canin Aviemore Sled Dog Rally 2002 26 Jan 2002 The answer to the eternal question on the Aviemore Rally 'what was the weather' must this year have been - lots of it ! Seriously, whatever the elements had to offer, we had it. Rain, hail, and even snow in blizzard form, but thankfully, with dry patches when they were most needed. Sadly, once again not enough of the White Stuff for sleds, but one day - maybe! More Details
	Pembrey Forest Rally 2002 12 Jan 2002 We would like to thank every one for coming to Pembrey Rally, and for leaving the venue in excellent order. It was a great day and I believe everyone enjoyed the new course that we had found. The weather was dry on the first day and a bit wet on the second day, both days the temperature was 9 – 10 degrees. The trail was mostly grassy, sandy, winding and undulating. The dogs found it very interesting with quite a few fast sections. More Details

	Cropton Rally 2001 17 Nov 2001 The number of teams who entered were up on last year by 20 teams to give 82 starters, which was fantastic when there was 2 other races on the same weekend. More Details
	Head Down Sprint 2001 11 Nov 2001 The South Downs at this time of the year really are beautiful and this has to be one of the prettiest of the Clubs' rallies, set amongst a backdrop of trees all showing off their autumnal colour palettes. More Details
	Kings Forest 2001 03 Nov 2001 Temperature was bouncing around all over the place so a water stop was put in place. Mushers meeting started at 0830hrs and between us all made a point to all newcomers that the rules should be abided by and a quick recap can be arranged if unsure. More Details
	SHCGB Northern Open Show 2001 21 Oct 2001 At last the Northern Open Show finally came round, due to the foot and mouth crisis a different venue had to be found at short notice to make sure everything went ahead. More Details
	Sled Dog Teach-in 14 Oct 2001 The day dawned mild and foggy and the site slowly came to life with bleary eyed campers sorting out & training their dogs, while bright eyed beginners arrived, nice & early, excited with all that the day might bring. More Details

	Crufts 2001 25 May 2001 Another Crufts over and the club would like to thank Bru and Krys Greenland, Lisa Lockey and Carol Todd, Terry and Mick Brent for helping out with the Discover Dogs stand. It was a long day for all and the booth was busy up to the end. More Details
	Championship Show - Coventry 2001 15 Apr 2001 There was a good turn out to the club show in Coventry this weekend. Everybody enjoyed getting back together for a chat, especially after our rally season was cut short due to the foot and mouth disease situation. A few people turned up the night before to camp at the back of the sports hall – no major parties – just a few howling huskies. More Details

	Aviemore 2001 27 Jan 2001 When the first entries started to come in, I had made a mental note that a hundred entries would be nice - considering the changed circumstances of the rally - and 150 would be lovely. To reach the staggering 201 teams plus 40 juniors we managed can only be described as a credit to everyone. My week-end seemed to be sent thanking people and although I do not intend to make this report resemble an Oscars' Award speech, it does without saying that to all those who put even the smallest amount of effort into the running of the 18th Aviemore Sled Dog Rally - my sincere thanks. And, indeed, to you all for coming, as I said at the Awards ... it may be a big job to organise, but without competitors it is not an event. More Details

	Sherwood Pines Night Rally 2001 13 Jan 2001 Following yet another sighting of the infamous Sherwood Boglin by that renowned and very down to earth Yorkshire Pudding, lan Robinson, a man not given to flights of fancy, I was in a state of total panic for the whole week before the Rally. Mick was, of course, totally unperturbed. Fortunately, the beast did not put in an appearance on Saturday, a fact for which we were all duly grateful. More Details

	Cropton 2000 09 Dec 2000 Thank you to everyone that took part in the second Cropton Rally sponsored by our local dog food manufacturer, Burgess Supa-dog who supplied all the food prizes for the first 4 places in each class as well as the thermal mug awards all the competitors and marshals received. 	Grizedale Forest 25 Nov 2000 Not wanting to break with tradition, we had periods of heavy rain on both days. The course was in good condition and all enjoyed the beautiful views Grizedale offers. More Details
	Clocaenog Sunday - South Alwen Forest 2000 19 Nov 2000 A gentler course than yesterday. One steady uphill section, leaving you to enjoy the slightly undulating forestery tracks in Alwen Forest. All classes ran 3 miles. More Details
	Clocaenog Saturday 2000 18 Nov 2000 How can a course have so many uphill sections without any downhill? Well it seemed that way. Most people ended up walking some part of this course. D, E classes ran 2.8 miles and C, B, A classes ran 3.9 miles. Conditions were good with most people returning very tired with a good coating of Welsh mud. More Details
	Head Down Sprint 2000 12 Nov 2000 The SHCGB held it's second rally of this season on the picturesque South Downs today, the course featured long, slightly muddy up hills and fast packed down hills. The were no DNS...is this a record? and as ever all went home clutching a rather nice plant or two. More Details
