Grizedale Rally Course Relocation

Unfortunately due to regrading of the Bogle Crag trail with unsuitable surfacing for the dogs, we have had to relocate. Fortunately all the stops have been pulled out and we have secured an excellent trail which is part of the conservation area for Grizedale.

The new trail is located opposite the free overnight parking facility and will be well signposted from the Visitors Centre.

As the new trail is part of the Conservation area it does come with a few restrictions, although this is a small price to pay of the fantastic trails with spectacular scenery. The restrictions are:

NO teams to enter the forest before 8am
NO teams to enter the forest after 9.30am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
NO teams in the forest after 4pm. As overnight parking is provided this shouldn't pose any problem. This is being regulated to protect wildlife. Entry and exit points will be marshalled and no-one will be allowed in after this time.

For further information please call Jackie Archibald on 07760 165538 or Jackie McAleavey on 01946 834200.
