Colwyn Bay Husky Fun Weekend-
In Aid of Husky Welfare.
Friday ( Evening ) 28th - Sunday 30th September 2001.
At Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, North Wales.
A fun weekend for all Husky Club Members. Whether you enjoy showing your dogs, working your dogs, own a welfare dog, are thinking about buying a puppy, or just love your Husky for who he is, then this is the weekend for you to come and socialize.

| Friday evening | Introduction, social evening including fun pub quiz. |
| Saturday morning | Fun run (using rigs) around the park. Workshops - these will include teach-ins on various subjects involving owning a Husky and will end with an open forum. |
| Saturday afternoon | Sponsored dog walk. |
| Saturday dusk | It's A Knock Out (with dogs & rigs) in floodlit stadium. |
| Saturday evening | Late bar and entertainment. |
| Sunday morning | Another fun run around the park. Exemption Dog Show including a class for welfare dogs. |
| Sunday afternoon | Award Presentation. Thank you's and Goodbye's |
Colwyn Bay will also be putting on attractions including:
- Kid's rides.
- Side show's etc.
- Trade stands.
- Information stands.
Local businesses will be sponsoring events and putting up trophies etc.
Facilities
There is something in the area to suit most pockets at various hotels
ranging from B&B to 4* hotels. Suitable facilities too for caravans
and vans on the Park plus dog exercise areas including the beach.
The whole idea of this weekend is FUN. We have over 650 members in the SHCGB and probably only a third meet regularly. This weekend is a chance for everyone to meet and make new friends, both 2 & 4 legged, new and old members alike.
