Colwyn Bay Husky Fun Weekend-
In Aid of Siberian Husky Club of GB
Welfare.
Friday ( Evening ) 29th September to 1st October 2006.
Yes, it's that time of year again. The Husky Fun Weekend will take place on the weekend of 29th September to 1st October 2006.
We will be aiming on running the weekend along the same lines as last year with a few changes to the programme and maybe an extra event.
For those of you who have not been before this is a chance to come along to have fun with or without a husky. It is for like-minded people whether you are thinking of entering the world of huskies or have been actively involved in the breed for years and can give valuable advice to newcomers. Yes, it is for all levels of experience and knowledge.
The weekend will run along the lines of a 'get together' and fun quiz on the Friday evening, the chance to meet friends old and new, register and have a pint or two. On Saturday we intend to hold the first fun run around the park followed by a workshop. Later in the day we will hold the new look race & new games. On Saturday night we will have entertainment and the auction (a big favourite).
Sunday will include the second fun run, companion dog show, sponsored dog walk and parade of welfare dogs. This will be followed by Rachel's Raffle and the award ceremony. For those too tired to drive home that night there's a visit to the local Indian Restaurant.
The event will take place in Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay where we can camp, caravan or sleep in vans for a small fee. All events (including the bar) are in walking distance from the caravan/parking areas so you may not need to drive throughout the weekend.
Please bring your WEFARE DOGS for the parade to show him/her off - we would like to see as many as possible. Don't forget there's a special class in the dog show for Welfare dogs.
THIS IS ALL IN AID OF WELFARE!

REMEMBER! This is a weekend for EVERYONE so no excuses!!!!
