Sled Dog Teach-in - Sunday 22nd October 2006 - start 9.30 am.

This Teach-in is aimed at Club Members who are thinking of running their dogs/thinking of getting dogs/are just about to start their First Season. However, anyone who is interested is welcome.

The programme is an informal session with talks covering all aspects of the Sport, including equipment, techniques, training tips and Club Rally Rules, etiquette and Bib Number system plus plenty of opportunities for questions. A short course will be marked out and Members will be able to run their own dogs (2 dogs minimum, age 9 months). Again this year, dog loans will not be available, unless independently arranged through people you know who are prepared to loan you a dog(s). However, we can supply rigs, lines, harnesses, etc. Please note you will only be allowed to run if you have attended the talks.
