Sled Dog Teach-in - Saturday 27th September 2008 - start 11 am.
Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire
This Teach-in is aimed at Club Members who are thinking of running their dogs/thinking of getting dogs/are just about to start their First Season. However, anyone who is interested is welcome.
The morning programme is an informal session with talks covering all aspects of the Sport, including equipment, techniques, training tips and Club Rally Rules, etiquette and Bib Number system plus plenty of opportunities for questions. Unfortunately no dogs can be accommodated inside whilst the talks are going on. At lunchtime a short course will be marked out and Members will be able to run their own dogs (2 dogs minimum, age 9 months). Again this year, dog loans will not be available, unless independently arranged through people you know who are prepared to loan you a dog(s). However, we can supply rigs, lines, harnesses, etc. Please note you will only be allowed to run if you have attended the talks.

| Directions: | From the A1: take the A614 through Ollerton, turn right on to the B6030 two miles south of Ollerton roundabout. Follow brown tourist signs for Sherwood Pines Park. The talks will be held in the school room, opposite the Cafe. |
