Sue and David Wiseman from Manchester
We have had Nanook since January. Our thanks goes out to Adrienne and Ruth plus the Prachetts who had looked after him for the month prior to us rehoming him. I must admit I am a first time husky owner, my partner has had a husky before but this beautiful ball of fluff turned into a practical whippet overnight with the onset of the warm weather and what a shock I got. I can cope with the wall to wall husky pile carpet but the extent of how small he actually was came as a shock. We dont know what background he came from, and he settled in as soon as we brought him home, but he is so timid to loud noises and even just scolding him if he has been a naughty boy sends him to the back of the settee!! I have had rescue dogs before and so know what comes with the territory, but I cannot understand who would inflict pain or misery on such a beautiful animal. We are moving to Germany soon, my partner is already there looking for a husky proof house and garden and as soon as our house is sold in the UK we are off permanently. Nookie will be flying first class from Manchester along with mum in economy!! Yet again I would like to say thanks for the joy that this gorgeous boy has brought into our lives and I hope we have brought some into his. Just because they are rescue dogs does not mean that they come with a bag full of problems and we are glad that we went through the house visit and months of waiting to get our boy.
