Grimsthorpe Estate 2003

Date: 15 Feb. - 15 Feb. 2003

The course is a mixture of forest trails and grass with a tarmac run in to the Finish. In classes after 2.5 miles there is a small ford to cross. There are no bad gradients. Rally Organisers reserve the right to alter the course if considered necessary.

Mushers' Meeting   8:30 am Saturday, all Classes, in the car park. Sunday only entries - see Rally Organisers on arrival.
Rig Inspection   In the Car Park from 8:00am Saturday. Sunday: see Rally Organsisers on arrival
Classes Scheduled  

B - 5.5 miles, C - 5.5 miles, D - 3.2 miles, D2 - 3.2 miles, E - 3.2 miles

Start Time   Saturday 15 February 2003 - D -9.30 am then D2 then E. C - 1.00 pm then B
Saturday 15 February 2003 - D -9.00 am then D2 then E. C - 12 noon then B
Starting Positions   First Day: Random Draw, Second Day: Seeded
Award Ceremony   In the Coach House Court Yard as soon as possible after the last team comes in.

Directions   From the North: Follow the A1 South, past Grantham to the Colsterworth roundabout. Turn left on to the A151. After about 8 miles turn right into Grimsthorpe Castle.
From the South: Follow the A1 North, past Stamford to the Colsterworth roundabout. Turn right on to the A151. After about 8 miles turn right into Grimsthorpe Castle.
