Head Down Sprint 2002
Buriton, near Petersfield, Hampshire
Date: 10 Nov. 2002
Head Down is situated on the South Downs and the trails, though mainly grass are all that is typical of this area - long uphills and long downhills which are extremely fast in places. Apart from one bend, it is mainly on an oval, so those of you whose dogs are not good on commands should be in their element!
For your own safety please ensure that your rig and equipment are in first class order and that the brakes work!!!

| Notes |
|
The Event is only held by kind permission of the Queen Elizabeth Park Section of the Forestry Enterprise. The venue is open to the public but is rarely used, however, all Mushers are requested (as always) to be polite and tolerant al all times whatever the circumstances - infringement of this requirement will be dealt with severely. Loss of time is preferable to loss of venue.
RUBBISH. We have the use of this forest on the understanding that there is no trace of our presence the day after the rally. This means that everyone MUST clear up after their dogs, fill in any holes dug and remove all litter and do not chain dogs to the trees. Thank you!
MARSHALLS. Rallies cannot be run without Marshals. PLEASE VOLUNTEER. There is a space on the Entry Form to indicate whether you are able to Marshall.
SELLING OF GOODS at the Event Site will not be permitted without prior approval of the Organisers.
NO SMOKING anywhere at the venue please. |
