Kielder Forest 2003
Kielder Forest Park, Northumberland - 2 day rally
Date: 22 Feb. - 23 Feb. 2003
Kielder Forest is Britain's largest forest, producing vast quantities of timber, yet offering valuable habitat for a variety of wildlife and a wide range of recreational opportunities.
The forest surrounds Kielder Water creating a genuine Northumbrian hideaway, tucked in a secluded valley near the Scottish Borders offering some of the most spectacular scenery in the North of England.
The usual trail is available and booked. The trail is quite unique as it has most types of surfaces to be found in this Country. This, coupled with the up-and-down sections all in the one trail we feel makes Kielder not just a race but a challenge to both musher and team. nb: Junior Class (11-15) will include marshaled turns.
