Kirroughtrie 2002
Date: 23 Nov. - 24 Nov. 2002
Trails consist of mostly soft dirt, grass trail, a few areas are slightly stone and flint. Dog boots should be on hand in case conditions change due to weather, however, it's more than likely these will not be needed. The trail has many gentle turns there are no steep hills, a very nice trail with some pleasant scenery.

| Notes |
|
This venue is within Kirroughtrie Visitors Centre and this will be the first season that a rally has taken place. It is more a commercial venue, however, it is closed through the winter season. The tearoom and toilet facilities are under discussion to be opened over the rally weekend. There is an outside water tap situated near the tearoom where there is also an area where vans can be parked and dogs staked out after the rally. There is also a play area.... mainly for the younger children!!!!
To ensure we (if it's wanted) are able to use this venue again please be vigilant and help avoid any conflicts which would be viewed unfavourably with the Forest Commission. Every effort will be made to ensure the general public are informed in advance of this event, and request dog walkers leave their dogs at home, but they are very welcome to come and watch the rally.
Marshalling will hopefully be by Raynet, however help will be required as usual, therefore, please check the notice board at start line to see where you are needed.
Competitors parking areas will be clearly sign posted.
Please be considerate and allow the allocated parking area for the larger teams to remain for them, closer to the start/finish line. |
