Date: 2nd January 2010 - Two Day Rally

Wide, hard packed trails. Undulating course, although most gradients are slight. Booting should not be necessary, although please check trail conditions on the day. Exact trail distances are subject to weather and trail conditions on the weekend of the event.

Directions   From North and South:
Leave M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith). Take A66 signposted Keswick (dual carriageway_. Pass Travelodge on left hand side, continue on to next roundabout. Keep on A66 for Keswick (3rd exit). The dual carriageway continues for approx another 3.5 miles. After dual carriageway finishes ignore signs for Greystoke and keep on A66 for approx 2.5 miles. The road takes a long sweeping bend to the left and you will see the Sportsman Inn up on the right hand side around 200 yards from the road. Turn off at the next right hand turn, signposted Hutton Roof. The road then bends to the right after only 50 yards. After the bend take the next left. Continue on through the village of Berrier. Keep on this road until you come to a crossroads. Turn right, signposted Newsham/Lamonby. Follow this road past Scales Farm on the left. The road now bends to the left, the main entrance to the forest is on your right just after the bend.

Notes   Please note as this is a new venue we like to leave a good impression. As such we would be grateful if you could clean up after your dogs, and leave no litter. Bin liners will be provided, so there will be no excuse.
